Welcome,

On behalf of all of the Board of Trustees, Fire Commissioners, Officers, and all the Firefighters of the Glenside Fire Protection District, I would like to welcome you to our website. I hope this site serves as a resource to exchange valuable information with the public we serve, fire service organizations, and the general public.  

The Glenside Fire Protection District provides quality fire and emergency medical services for the majority of Glendale Heights and Glen Ellyn Countryside. The District includes approximately 4 square miles with 30,000 residents. The District has 18 full-time suppression personnel, 20 paid on call personnel, 2 chief officers, and 4 administrative support personnel. The District operates out of a newly renovated fire station located at Bloomingdale and Fullerton Avenue. The District is proud to have obtained an ISO class 3.
