Full-Time Firefighter

March 15   Written Test at College of Du Page Room SRC 2800.

Note: Candidate Physical Agility Test (CPAT) is the responsibility of the candidate.

The Glenside Fire Protection District minimum requirements to qualify for the full-time firefighter position are:

Statutory Requirements – Birth Certificate & U.S. Citizenship; Valid Driver’s License; Age – at least 21 years but not older than 35 at time of hire; Felony Conviction – may disqualify.

Education Requirements – High School diploma or equivalent.

Professional Requirements – Certified Firefighter II through the Office of the State Fire Marshal; Licensed Paramedic (in the State of Illinois); CPAT Certification – CPAT must be issued within one year prior to date of application.
